Why this site exists

Sedona punishes the assumption that one pass covers everything. A Red Rock Pass gets you into most Forest Service trailheads, but not the handful of concessionaire-managed sites and not either state park, which charge their own separate fee; Devil's Bridge has three different approaches with three different drive times; and the free Sedona Shuttle runs on a fixed schedule to a short list of trailheads, not the whole town. Guides written once and never revisited still quote a pass amount that has since stepped up or down for the season.

So every fee, hour and pass rule here is read off the agency's own page and stamped with the date it was read. Where the official source states no figure, such as a lot's parking capacity, a precise city elevation or a Sedona-to-Grand-Canyon drive time, the page says so rather than borrowing a plausible number from a blog.

Where the information comes from

Fees, hours and pass rules for the trailheads and heritage sites come from the Coconino National Forest's own pages (fs.usda.gov); the two state parks, Slide Rock and Red Rock State Park, are read from Arizona State Parks (azstateparks.com); the Grand Canyon, Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot come from the National Park Service (nps.gov); Antelope Canyon's permit and tour rules come from the Navajo Nation's own parks service (navajonationparks.org); and the free shuttle's days and hours come from sedonashuttle.com, the City of Sedona's own shuttle site. Town-level facts, such as the elevation figure and the Dark Sky designation, are attributed to Visit Sedona, the city's official tourism bureau, by name wherever they appear.

Each venue beyond that is sourced from its own site. Tour prices, ratings and review counts are the platform's own published numbers, read on the date shown on the card. Pages are re-read at least once a quarter, sooner for anything date-sensitive, such as a state-park fee that steps down on a fixed date.

What we do not claim

There is no invented author here, no local persona and no claim that someone from this site stood at a specific trailhead on a specific morning. We do not operate or guide any tour, and we do not manage or inspect any trail, park or heritage site.

We hold no bookings. Every Check Availability button hands you to the platform the tour is sold on, where the price and cancellation window are theirs. Official sources, including the Forest Service, Arizona State Parks, the National Park Service, the City of Sedona and the Navajo Nation, are linked plainly, without tracking, wherever a fee or a reservation is theirs to sell, not ours.

How the site pays for itself

Tour links on this site are GetYourGuide affiliate links: book through one and the platform pays us a commission, at the same price you would have paid going there yourself. Hotel-area links go through Stay22, which forwards you to a booking site and pays on the same terms. A Red Rock Pass, a state-park fee, a national-park entrance fee and an Antelope Canyon permit are never affiliate links; those pages send you straight to the agency that sells them.

Corrections

Trail conditions change with the monsoon, fee schedules step up and down by season, and a shuttle route or a reservation policy can be revised with little notice. Write to us with what you found and when. A corrected figure is worth more than a defended one.

What we are not

We do not operate or personally conduct these tours: every booking is made on the operator's own site, at the operator's own price, and the operator carries the licence, the insurance and the cancellation policy. Official pass, ticket and agency links on this site are never affiliate links.
